Hypnotizer – Into Nowhere by thingstocome

“Well well well, after 8 months… it took a record like this to finally warrant me writing some again!!! Undoubtably the best record I have heard in a long long time… Miro delivers six tracks of pure, deep & dark techno / doomcore genius. The production is absolutely spot-on as you would expect, and the ideas are brilliant & original… the vocals, sounds, riffs & noises just seem to slot effortlessly into place. It’s not dancefloor friendly, and no track touches much above the 130 bpm mark, but who cares – this is a record you can listen to again & again… and the more you listen the better it gets !!! What’s more the tracks are over two years old !!!! So here’s waiting for the next installment eh!!! Personal favorites are ‘The Light is Leaving’, ‘Hypnotizing You’ & ‘Within the Fog’. 10/10. ” – FACE HOOVER, CROSSBONES UK

“Awesome & long awaited ttc release from Miro. The best ttc release yet !! Superb vocals & arrangements. Don’t miss out !!! ” – PHUTURE RAVE DISTRIBUTION

“Having had this record in my possession for a month or two I’m still a little unsure whether it’s meant to be played at 33 or 45. Airing on the side of caution I’ll review it at the former. Hypnotizer is Miro from what was once PCP (Planet Core Productions) and is now ‘Acardipane Records’. Miro has recorded some of the biggest rave hits in the Netherlands and Germany, using recording aliases such as Kotzaak Klaan, Eman, Jack Lucifer and Superpower, and here provides six industrial-techno-new wave dance songs, as he puts it. The general tone is rough and grimy, with titles such as ‘Within the Fog’, ‘Into Nowhere’ and ‘My Shadow’ giving you a reasonable mental picture of this guy’s musical headset. Most of the tracks are thick, savage techno bangers, swathed in angry distorted vocal samples, with occasional forays into slower, more drugged-up experiments, as on ‘Alone’. It’s a cheesy adage, but this stuff definitely ain’t for the faint hearted. There’s an original sound that shines through the dirge, but ‘Into Nowhere’ is not the most inviting of EPs to listen to. Fans of a tougher electro sound should definitely check ‘Within the Fog’ on 45 however – short it may be, but it’ll kick ass on the floor. ” – OverLoadMedia.co.uk
